What is the Careers Centre?

The Careers Centre is a recruitment service staffed by experienced Talent Advisors who are there to support both hiring managers and candidates in their recruitment needs.

Talent Advisors are available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, to assist you with all of your enquiries. Call 1300 637 637.

What can the Careers Centre do for me?

There are two levels of service available, the first, which is available to all eligible organisations in the sector, includes the following:

• Advice on best proactive recruitment process.  
• Recommendation on best practice job advertising.
• Assistance with development of a job description.
• Talent Pool search for relevant registered candidates.
• Best practice guidance, behavioural interview techniques.
• Auto alert to registered candidates that match the criteria.
• Enquiry management both online and via 1300 637 637.
• Response management (acknowledgment only).
• Delivery of potential candidates from application.
• Advice on offer management.
• Access to the employer directory where you can upload information about your organisation for candidates to access.

This level of service is currently free-of-charge to eligible organisations in the sector. 

Are there additional services?

Once we have established our standard service with the majority of eligible organisations, we will be able to offer even more support which will make the whole recruitment process more efficient, driving down the cost per hire, minimise talent turnover, and reduce the time taken to recruit the right person. This level of service will include:

• Comprehensive response management from acknowledgment to confirmation of interview or regret.
• Candidate screening against set criteria to deliver short-list of suitable candidates.
• Basic background checking.
• Post-hire communication.
